The role is within the Front Office Strats dev team that is responsible for building and maintaining the current Risk and P&L platform used globally by a number of business units (Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets, Wealth Management etc.) and is also working on the new strategic platform that will replace it. The team is geographically split mainly across Moscow and London, with team management, project management, development, analysis and testing being undertaken in both locations.

Overall Purpose of the Role
We are looking for experienced (3+ years) Python developer to work on risk calculation platform within global Strats Team.

Main Responsibilities
As a team member you will be:
• Working in cross-functional agile team on the whole stack of the system;
• Communicating with stakeholders (Strats Team) to understand their needs;
• Architecting and designing solutions to evolve existing components and functionality;
• Maintaining system in production;
• Participating in product delivery process alignment and improvement;

• Python 3 language core concepts and features;
• Data structures and algorithms;
• Data manipulation Python libraries: NumPy, Pandas;
• Persistence integration & data manipulation (SQL, ORM frameworks);
• Agile development methodologies (Scrum, TDD);
• Software development lifecycle and DevOps utilities;
• Verbal/written communication in English on technical topics.

Experience / Requirements (will be a plus)
• Java language 8+
• Distributed caching solutions (Hazelcast, Apache Ignite, Oracle Coherence);
• Front-end technologies: JavaScript, GWT, Thymeleaf, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS;
• Container technologies (Docker, OpenShift)
• C/C++ experience
